Change has a way of showing up when we least expect it. It can bring with it much emotion. It can be exciting, but it can be stressful. If we’re honest, there are times we wish things could stay the same, yet change is unavoidable.

The world around us is constantly changing. Society changes. Technology changes. Jobs change. Relationships change. Sometimes we choose change, and sometimes change is forced upon us.

Just when we get comfortable, something changes, but in a world where almost everything seems to be shifting, there is one person we can always count on to remain the same.

The Bible reminds us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

What a comforting promise.

• When life changes, Jesus doesn’t.
• When your circumstances change, Jesus doesn’t.
• When your plans change, Jesus doesn’t.
• When you don’t know what tomorrow will bring, Jesus is already there.

So when change comes, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. You may not be able to control what changes around you, but you can trust the one who never changes.

Stay encouraged. Whatever changes tomorrow brings, Jesus will still be there.
