Embrace Your Flaws: God Can Use You

You’re not perfect, but God can still use you. You’ve made a huge mistake in the public eye, but God can still use you. You doubt yourself, but God can still use you. You’ve made bad decisions in the past, but God can still use you. No matter your life story, God can still use you.

Many people believe God only uses those who have everything together, but the Bible tells a different story. Just look at some examples.

  • Moses struggled with self-doubt.
  • Peter failed publicly.
  • David made serious mistakes.
  • Paul once persecuted Christians.

God used each of these individuals in powerful ways. The common thread wasn’t perfection. It was availability. God specializes in using ordinary people with flaws, weaknesses, and struggles to accomplish extraordinary things.

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness,” declares the Lord in 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Don’t disqualify yourself because of your imperfections. Bring your weaknesses to God and allow his strength to shine through them. What God can do through a surrendered life is far greater than what we can accomplish in our own strength.
