Embrace the Waiting: Trusting God’s Timing for Your Dreams

Are you frustrated today because your goals and dreams seem distant? Your goal is a promotion at work, but it seems every time you take a step, there is a setback. Your dream is to have a family, but it doesn’t seem it is ever going to be fulfilled. Each day is met with more waiting.

Waiting is rarely easy. We want answers, solutions, and progress now, but what if what feels like a delay is actually preparation?

Romans 8:28 reminds us God works all things for the good of those who love him. We often think of this verse in difficult times. The encouragement it offers is just as powerful in times of waiting. Perhaps it feels as if God isn’t moving in your goal or dream, but this verse reminds us he is.

God often works beneath the surface long before we can see the results. A seed spends time underground before it breaks through the soil, and a builder lays a foundation before constructing a building. In the same way, God may be preparing you for something greater than you can currently imagine.

What seems slow today may make perfect sense one day. It may be the foundation for your goal, or the missing link that brings your dream to fulfillment.

Friend, trust his timing. The God who sees the end from the beginning knows exactly what he is doing, and he never wastes a season.
